Teatro Pilipino USA presents: Noli Me Tangere

TEATRO PILIPINO USA, brings to California the much-acclaimed NOLI ME TANGERE, the musicals adapted from the novel of Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
The musical was created through the collaboration of renowned Filipino artists (Nonon Padilla (artistic director), Ryan Cayabyab (musical score), Dr. Bienvenido Lumbera (libretto).
After nearly two decades since it was first staged and toured in Japan and Malaysia, TEATRO PILIPINO USA is bringing it for the first time to the United States, home to millions of Filipino migrant.

TEATRO PILIPINO, USA, dreams of bringing quality Filipino musical and plays to the United States to promote Philippine music, artistry and crafts.

STARRING: Miguel Vera – A known well-traveled versatile artist who performed in various countries such as Spain, Greece, Japan, Bahrain, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia. He is known in the Philippines for his deep haunting voice and made popular the OPM – or Original Pilipino Music.

Kit Navarro – Kit was recently featured in the LA Times for her opera singing. She has performed with the San Diego Opera, the Los Angeles and Long Beach Opera and more. She was also a backup vocalist for famous Andrea Bocelli and Reba McEntire.

The Cast – Some of the cast performed in the original production when it toured Japan. Not only is it a wonderful reunion, but now, they are passing the baton to the new cast of Noli.
