Valdez began his career as a folk singer until re re-invented himself in collaboration with composer-song writer Ryan Cayabyab, who became his musical director. Valdez’ biggest hits have been movie themes, “Paano Ba Ang Mangarap,” “Muling Buskan Ang Puso” and “Paraisong Parisukat.” Valdez also is known for his memorable classic hit songs” Ngayon at Kailanman” and ‘Lift Up Your Hands to God.”

Cruz began her career as one of the lead singers of the popular group, Smokey Mountain, and the group’s first, self-titled album went platinum. Cruz then became the first grand prize winner of “The Voice of Asia” and her first solo album, “I Like You,” went double platinum.
