Manitoba Filipino Street Festival

The Manitoba Filipino Street Festival on Saturday, August 22 will start at 9am, with a parade and street dancing along McPhillips. Assembly and starting point is the Northgate Shopping Centre parking lot, ending at the Sears Garden City parking lot, corner of McPhillips and Leila. We expect an even larger group this year as the festival grows year after year. Organizations coming as far as Calgary, Neepawa and Brandon will join the parade of floats, ethnic costumes and ethnic dances. Community association tents at the Sears venue will be decorated according to the region that each association represents.
