FYP-DC aims to elevate the Filipino-American professional to achieve success in their career. The ability to collaborate is crucial to be successful in our careers. This is why FYP-DC will host its first conference to discuss the importance of working together.
Our conference theme, ‘Makaisa’ (Unite), stems from the idea that we need to work together as a team to reach our goals. The combined effect of a team is greater than the sum of individual efforts. When individuals unite together it creates a diverse environment leading to enhance creativity and decision-making. The collaboration will lead to an increased success in our ability to problem solve in an efficient and effective manner. We believe this can only happen if we unite, together.
