Description
From playwright Felix Racelis comes the new work As Straw Before the Wind, about a Filipino nurse who survives World War II. The production bows August 13 and plays through September 4 at the Ruby Theatre’s The Complex in Hollywood, CA.
Directed by Lesley Asistio, the production stars Tita Pambid, Muni Zano, Sarnica Lim, Anita Borcia, Rochelle Lozano, Doan Nguyen and Gabriel Garcia.
The production features a diverse company as the playwright, director and five of the seven cast members are Filipino American. The final two actors are Latin American and Jewish American.
